Recently the fine art photographic printmaker has come out of the dark(room) and into the digital lab.  There we have found creative  tools that allow us to truly explore the depth and breadth of information lurking deep within the original photograph.

Also, never before have so many choices in lovely papers been available to the photographic printmaker.

And those papers and inks are producing permanence ratings from 125 to 150 years when the print is displayed with UV filtered glass or protective laminate.    This means that many years will pass before noticeable fading and/or changes in color balance might occur.
